I adore the Nimoy poem, sappy poetry is great. My favorite part is when he mentions hand holding. I've always seen that as such a sweet romantic thing.
I cut my own hair all the time. It's very forgiving because it's very thick and wavy so it doesn't matter as much if it's not totally straight :)
