Honestly, to be at 20,000 by monday is great. That would be 60K by the end of the month. You can't judge yourself by other people's totals. Everyone has their own pace!

Someones comment up there about working with old novels, that irks me. I had nothing when I started. It is possible! It helps if you have no job/life :)
