A few weeks ago, I came across the Free Hugs Campaign, but I didn't give any time to check it out. I really wish I had. :( This is a beautiful and wonderful project. Breaking that barrier, making physical contact a good thing...it's difficult to get over if you have been conditioned not to touch. I know I have fallen a great deal for this, despite how I'm always hugging family. It's just more difficult to hug people I don't know. It wasn't that long ago that hugging friends became a regular thing. Now I'm on a mission to hug everyone associated with Heroes, but I'm going to expand the mission to hugging people in general. Share the love with them when they might otherwise be lacking. I have a "Free Hugs Given Here!" shirt to help me out, so let's see what happens. :D

I saw that in a commercial or somewhere, and I thought it was so awesome. The world DOES need more hugs! And I love the way people were just completely unself-conscious about running up to hug a stranger with that sign. :D

And I don't know if it's a Michael/Chris hug or a Ben/Chris hug. It's from the post-last-scene-of-Unending, so it could go either way. This one *points* is less ambiguous. ;-D

That is a truly awesome idea. Except i'm not a hug person. I feel very uncomfortable and confined and like i'm running out of air. But, ya know, it's the thought that counts and that's heartwarming. Let's hope a perv doesn't ruin the whole thing.

Aww. I'm sorry. :( The people who only ruined it were police, but then they were put a stop to with a petition and the hugs were allowed again!

You should see all of the 'Free Hug' signs at Comic Con in San Diego!
I went wild... collecting free hugs from a variety of people(including Sarah Silverman.... who wasn't sporting a sign)!

Now... I think I might be the one on a similar mission.... since the Heroes cast will be at Comic Con this year....

I think I have seen them, but I never took anybody off on them! I can't believe that. :( Wow! Sarah Silverman? She'd be a fun person to meet!

They are at Comic Con every year! :D Or have been for the last two.

I regret not seeing them the first year they came to Comic Con... especially since the show was new and not many people were there to see the panel. Last year's panel was a ZOO! I'm sure this year's panel will be even crazier! xD
Either way, I'm aiming to get hugs from the cast this year... It's my official CC goal. Lol!

What was she like like in person? I'd really like to see her with Jimmy Kimmel. I've seen him twice in person because I've gone to his show. Went for Zach Quinto and then went last week for Milo Ventimiglia!

Me too. I regret quite majorly. I remember where I was when the panel was on. I was so stupid! I had just heard of that show at Comic Con and I was like "Meeh. Whatever." And a couple years earlier, it would have been me all over! I was a major comic fan for years. I had a falling out with comics because the writing had gone to pot. But then the show premiered and I was hooked. Not as hooked as I am now, but I was a regular viewer. The obsessed fandom came afterward.

Were you at the panel last year? I managed to get in. Was there at 9:15 and the room was already 3/4ths of the way filled.

That'll be a difficult aim to fulfill. I think it's do-able, but it is difficult. They don't have much public interaction at CC. I found James Kyson Lee last year on the con floor, doing autographs and photographs. I opted for a photograph with him because I decided that I wanted a photograph with every Heroes actor. So far, including Lee, I have four. But I've hugged the majority of the cast. Easier to do that than get a photograph or an autograph. Plus, I've been really limiting with my asking due to the situations I've been in .

I was at the panel last year! I asked a question during the FAQ that will live in my mind forever...
I remember getting to the panel as early as I possibly could, but I was still forced to sit in the back somewhere... then I sat through the Bionic Woman panel. As soon as it was over, I ran up to find a spot closer... but failed miserably and ended up sitting even further in the back! But it was all made up for when I asked my question! xD

So... note to self: Hugs, not autographs. Haha!
I think the only photograph I would want is one with The Pas. I don't usually do autographs myself if I catch someone like that in the Exhibit Hall. But if it's at the Autograph Area(or if it's Richard Kelly), then... I guess I sort of have to. Lol!
Also, I'm going to be lucky enough to actually sit at a booth this year(IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME). So I'll be stuck in one place for the majority of the con... maybe I'll be even luckier to see some cast members floating around the exhibit hall! *crosses fingers*

P.S. If you're going to CC this year, stop by the 'Red Eye Press' booth.... in either Artist's Alley or Small Press. It'll be worth your time! I swearz!!! Heh!

What was your question? Mine was to Adrian and was if, now since the first season was over, did he still think Nathan did not have a moral compass and was worse than Jim Profit. He gave me the answer he said in the interview he gave where I originally read this question. *L* But I also got a DSC shoutout, a comment to Grunny about how cool he is for being friends with JJ and thanking him for that, and a "OMG so cool!" to Zach for being Spock.

Hugs are nice. I want my Heroes poster signed, but I'm patient. *L*

I'm going to be in the Autograph Area for Thursday and Friday of Con. Volunteering there.

Red Eye Press is the place where you will be?

I really need to hunt down Devil's Due. I want me some swag of Rest.

Yuh. I live in San Diego.... but am going to school in San Francisco. My school is pretty much draining me of.. everything. Hah!

Aww I love that video! So inspiring. Well in the Junior High that I used to go to they have banned hugging...ugh it's horrible! I hate the principal there she has no soul, lol.

It really, really is! I feel warm and fuzzy when I see it. That is a horrible thing to do. :( That evil woman. It's for liability. *rolls eyes* See, that's the thing, though. If you let people do what they do naturally, you won't have any problems. What changes is when people act against natures. Having so many restrictions...against nature. I think there will be some major backlash from all of these damned rules at school. *sighs* Okay, change of subject now. *L*
