I do, honestly, think a lot of it is the media striking fear in people's hearts, but then I also wonder if I'm clouded by the fact that a strike would be just kill me - I need my TV shows right now. :)

If this was any other time, but four months after the WGA strike I think it would be a whole new ballgame. Or I'm in denial.
