This sounds fun! I really like John Campea and the mods are Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the guys who gave us Pathology, are there too! Great guys all of them! But at the same time as the Kings panel. Boo.

10:00-11:00 Masters of the Web—For the second year in a row the biggest genre and movie websites are coming together to discuss how new media have affected movie making, what it takes to run a popular site, and much more in a panel discussion and Q&A session. Woo, William Katt! I wanna meet him...probably just because he's going to be on Heroes. LOL But I used to watch Greatest American Hero as a kid. Was one of my fav shows from the 80s.

12:30-1:30 William Katt: Greatest American Hero Comic—Join Alex, Justin, and Pete from Pulp Secret for one of the biggest announcements at this year’s Comic-Con, an event that’s been 25 years in the making. ...I thought this show already premiered? Huh.

4:30-5:30 HBO’s True Blood—Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris, True Blood is created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s Emmy-winning series Six Feet Under. The series takes place in the not-too-distant future, when, thanks to the invention of synthetic blood, vampires no longer need humans for their fix and can walk freely, if not yet comfortably, among their living counterparts. With their integration into a small Louisiana town causing a stir, a love story ensues between Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin, the X-Men films; Academy Award winner for The Piano), an innocent waitress with the unusual ability to read minds, and vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer, The Starter Wife). The series also features Ryan Kwanten (Summerland), Rutina Wesley (How She Move), Sam Trammell (Judging Amy), and Nelsan Ellis (The Inside). True Blood debuts September 7 exclusively on HBO. Hall, Julie Benz, Clyde Phillips, and John Goldwyn, plus a special guest! Room 6CDEF

Sounds kicky and with Robert Meyer Burnett and Mark A. Altman! I love those guys! And I could actually go to this panel. I'm off the clock at 5:15.

6:00-7:00 Life, Death, Life of Star Trek—You've heard a lot of hype about sci-fi's first franchise lately, now it's time to see what it's all about and celebrate an illustrious 40 years of boldly going with this regular panel of unpaid, uncensored Treksperts, who pay homage to Trek's past and future with some special surprises and exclusive audio-visual treats you'll only see here. Daren Dochterman (ST: TMP Director's Cut Special Edition), Robert Meyer Burnett (Free Enterprise), Jeff Bond (The Music of Star Trek), and moderator Mark A. Altman (Free Enterprise) talk Trek like no one else can...or will. Room 2

Day 1 looks to offer some rip-roarin fun.

and Gloria wept, when she remembered she would not be there. :..(

[identity profile] fangirljen.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry, Glo! *Snug*

[identity profile] thepandorarose.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, what fun! Now the greatest American Hero song will be running through my head all night.

I didn't know that's what Kings was about. I've seen their crew trucks all along the city. How are u?

[identity profile] fangirljen.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
It'll be a blast! I didn't see anything that was really big, though. Last year, there was that panel for Star Trek that announced Zach as Spock. That was funny last year. I heard about Zach getting the role from a friend who wasn't even at CC! *L* That's how much is happening there! You can be there and you don't even hear about it.

Yep! Michael Green is doing it. He's such a cool guy.

I'm good. :D Waiting an hour before my friend picks me up. We're gonna do some table top rp. How are you? And I saw your recent post. Don't cut me! :( I'm not worried that you will, but I like being on your flist. We have so many conversations. Which reminds me: I still need to see "Don't Look Back." Doh!

[identity profile] thepandorarose.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I will NEVER cut you. :)

Oh, now I get what Flist means, I'm not good with the internet speak. I insulted someone once and I still don't know how... lol.

Yes, I do also. I am loving the discussion, everyone is so smart. And its keeping me off spoilers.

[identity profile] fangirljen.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yays! M3 is Yaying with me! :D Thank you! I read what you wrote and I was thinking, "Well, I spoiler cut everything, but I am frequent to bursts of excitement." *L*

Friend's List - Flist. :D Ack! I generally just use LJ speak things. There are some other words that slip in, too, like 'huggles'. Isn't that a great word? :D

Nice! I'll watch it tomorrow, I think. And then start working on ep 2 and ep 3. *L* I work tomorrow. 6AM - 3PM. Covering someone else's shift. I'm torn over looking forward to it or not. I need the money, but that's long. At least three of those hours I'll be working at the cash register. Haven't done that in ages. Hope I'm not too rusty.

I hope to go no spoilers, too. I can do that so easily for Stargate, but the fact that I don't care anymore is what comes into play. With Heroes, I'm like "Oh spoiler you say?" *click*

[identity profile] thepandorarose.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Its the wait. The wait is what does it. 9 months is a long time. I really do feel once the show starts I'll be okay, but before its just hard. I also hate not being in "the know" :)

And I also love a good mystery and figuring things out with clues. Sigh.

I'm very proud that I guessed the end of Sex and The City because of one quick clip. Which is always funny to me because when Oprah's audience got to see it early, they didn't show them the last 30 mins - but they put it in the trailer. ekk.

And of course I guessed your spoiler, right. lol.

[identity profile] fangirljen.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
The wait time. Yeah! You've been filling it up with writing your fic and I've been filling it up with Save Nathan Petrelli dot com and roleplaying. Plus a bit of fanfic reading. Some how a lot of time has passed! I'm not sure how that happened.

I do too. I love being able to figure things out. I'm not terribly good at it, but it's fun to speculate. I couldn't speculate at all during first season because I didn't feel like I knew the characters well enough yet. I just watched the episodes without speculating, without reading spoilers too--except for casting. Ooh. And a few spoilers about Christopher Eccleston. I was a fan of Claude before he was introduced. :D

They couldn't see the last thirty mins? Huh? Why not? :(

Yah! :D

[identity profile] thepandorarose.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, season one not so good. I feel writing the characters and knowing them better all around makes it. I mean I thought we'd find out Angela was in a faction of the founders against the Linderman. lol. "Oh, she's evil. Darn. Oh, she's awesome evil, okay cool."

I do however guess she was part of the clan Linderman was talking about, or maybe I just really wanted her to have a good storyline that badly.

They weren't aloud to see the last 30 min so the end was blogged on or spoiled. But they got free passes to see the movie once it came out.

Sounds like we both followed the same boat to Hell, I mean spoilers. :)

I can't not read casting, its fun. Speaking of - AP should be cast in a few weeks, if they haven't started already. :) Although I spec they will not reveal that info in a press release until it gets closer. :(

[identity profile] thepandorarose.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Speaking of fic (cough, cough)

I won't be jealous, I won't be jealous, I won't be jealous...*weeps*

I hope you have a great time, hon. :D

Oh, and I read your post on Milo yesterday, and just...guh. I mean, I had been looking forward to party pics with Adrian, but you know, I can give up my dose of RPS in a good cause. XD

[identity profile] fangirljen.livejournal.com 2008-07-10 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish you weren't jealous. :( I'll be doing all I can to keep people up on what's going on. I plan to be making voice posts through CC and maybe even get online. One of the roomies will have her laptop with her! :D

Thank you.

How he went to the USO? Yeaah. I just...for his birthday. Wow! And how he was asked, too. I mean, someone from the Joint Chiefs asked him to go! Whoa! I wonder how that came about. I love it when actors get out and do things like that. Put their energies into a good cause and something they believe in.

*chuckle* I'm sure their RST will be back. It always comes back. Wait until Comic Con. *sage nod*

I wish you weren't jealous. :( I'll be doing all I can to keep people up on what's going on.

LOL, I was *joking*. Joking! It doesn't always come across on Teh Intarwebs, I guess. :D I'm glad you're going, and I can't wait for your reports!

[identity profile] scifichicx.livejournal.com 2008-07-11 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Weeeeeeee! Thanks for posting! I didn't shed tears when I read the panelists for the Torchwood panel or anything. >.> Can I mention how much my mind is blown. This is the most amazing thing EVA. *dances*

[identity profile] petrellilover.livejournal.com 2008-07-11 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
