WGA Heroes Fan Day at Universal, Dec. 11th, 12PM

Date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Location: GATE at UNIVERSAL CENTER DRIVE and LANKERSHIM (The one that leads up to the theme park parking.)
Time: Noon
In attendance: The nearly the entire writing staff along with Jack Coleman, Ali Later, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Christine Rose, and possibly a few more.

And free t-shirts and comics to fans! I'm more excited about the t-shirts.

It goes without saying that I am REALLY looking forward to this! Finally a chance to show support to the group of writers I seriously adore like no other. Anybody else going too??? *bounces*

That's really cool! I wanted to go before, but I haven't been able to. I knew when Heroes Day came (I've been hoping), that I just had to go! And not only am I going, but my mom is coming with me. My mom, who, because of her heart attack a few years ago, is on oxygen and has to be in a wheel chair when she goes out, is going to be there. :D I'm so thrilled!!!! There's no other company I would rather have than my mom.

I'm hoping to find my cameras before then. *crosses fingers* And, not just that, but my digital camera actually works.

I'm seriously debating taking an "extended lunch break" for this like I did with the march down Hollywood Blvd. Universal is only a couple quick stops on the metro from my office.

Jen, scream extra loud for me. Tell everyone I heart them all and want them back to work like yesterday. I'll be thinking about the picket from 3pm-6pm est(12pm to 3pm) in NY. Get as many autographs as possible and photos. I would totally die to get an autographed Heroes tshirt for Christmas but I'm not expecting miracles.

It's not the sort of event to get autographs. Fans are expected to maintain composure. I'm guessing it's only more lax than the rules I was expected to adhere to while I was an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean 2: no talking to the talent, no photos, no signatures, just working. Here, we can talk to the talent, but we still must maintain ourselves. So no bugging of the talent about storylines, or anything.

I wanted to add an a long distance extra set of lungs since there would be no way for me to join the picket. I would love to jump on a plane tonight and get out there for the picket. I thought they might autograph the shirts they are giving them out tomorrow. Oh well, since the strike looks like it's gonna keep going for awhile. I might still be able to picket.
