I need to re-watch "I Am Become Death" before I really start expressing my feelings. Now that I've seen it, I can be better prepared for some things. You know, I'm really loving the fact that even though I have some spoilers, there are all these things that I don't know! And some of those spoilers have some great stuff...but damn. They are pulling all the stops.




The title of this ep is reference to a part of the scripture from Bhagavad Gita. It goes: "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." These are the words said by J. Robert Oppenheimer a Los Almos director at the Trinity nuclear test. Trinity has a Biblical reference, but it also makes me think of the three Petrellis.

Now, the real irony is what fellow director Kenneth Bainbridge said to Oppenheimer: "Now we are all sons of bitches." I can really picture the men of the Founders being this way, especially Linderman and Arthur. And then there's the information that Zimmerman gives: he and the other scientists he worked with got their brains wiped by a Company! *snorts* There's going to be a lot of fun coming up, I'm sure.

Now for something that has nothing to do with what I was just saying...OMG!!!!! I LOVE GABRIEL SO MUCH!!! Gabriel and Noah! They're so cute! I've never been a Sylar redemptionist, but dude, where do I sign up?

Saw it last night and totally agree- loved it! Gabriel was adorable! I'm also loving Tracy which I wasn't expecting since I loved Niki/Jessica- makes me wonder when we'll see Barbara and which of them was it in Angela's vision.... (have been avoiding spoilers btw!)

Also- "Hiro you son of a-" I missed Adam!

I really like Tracy, too. Not sure how I feel about Nathan/Tracy, though. *shrugs* I did like him with Niki. Hm. You know, I think I like Nathan and (put in one of Ali's characters names here) best when they're talking. He and Niki had a very nice moment of sharing. And he and Tracy had a nice moment of sharing. But then sex works itself in and it's all over.

Oooh, you might be right about Barbara! Especially with being related to The German? That could get interesting.

I had forgotten that I read your journal recently. You rp Niki, don't you? :D Could use her in a RP I'm involved in, on Insanejournal. Here. It picked up where "Powerless" started. Being how we didn't see Niki deceased until after that, she could still be around.

So far my favorite Nathan moments have been the ones with Tracy. Still undecided about the pairing, but it's an interesting dynamic anyway. I wonder how Nathan will react if/when he finds out that Niki's dead.

I know! There was definitely a reason why Angela had that vision and it almost seemed that 'Ali Larter's character' was the ringleader! Another wife of Adam? Another personality? Who knows?!

I do, I rp a 5 Years Gone Niki and begun to love the character! Cool, I'll check it out when I'm home from work- stupid work have started to block IJ, may have to start bringing my beloved macbook into work and use the starbucks wifi at lunch!

I hope Tracy tells him. I mean, obviously she knows that he knew her. He'd want to know that she was dead. I'm trying to figure out where he's coming from this season. I'm not sure how much of Linderman's influence there is that's going on. Oh, I think next week's episode is gonna help a lot. And eps 7 and 8.

*nod* I'm glad that they kept the vision intact.

I love the vision- we just got that ep over here in the UK and I loved seeing it again on a shiny big screen!

This was such a draining episode. *L* I have to rewatch it to think about how I feel toward it. I definitely like particular aspects of it, and characters, but there are things that really go to me. But, then again, that's good storytelling too. They're pushing the envelope in ways I had never expected to see.

Yeah, I meant to ad that, or did I? Thompson and even the GN said they just found him. Another reason I don't think Nathan was wiped about having another brother. It's easy to tell a child, the baby died. Not to mention Angela doesn't seem big on mind "raping" her kin. She's had soo many opportunities to mind whip her sons to forget what they learned. And number one clue is the Haitian - he was taking orders from Angela against Bennett and her order was NOT to wip Claire. And honestly it would have been best for Angela if Claire didn't remember Peter, yet she never gave the order. I find that fascinating. I like to think her run in with Maury makes Angela sensitive to one's brain being violated like that.

Yes, it's crazy how much I loved that scene and Sylar's speech about fighting his dark side.

My mother told me last night it was her favorite scene.

Now, only if they would stop the speed and slow down for some actually drama.

*nod* It really humanized Gabriel. I mean, a lot of the Sylar fans knew this already. So go them! I think he played it perfectly. It felt real to me. And even with his son, though, he had a mask. But it was a smart one to have: the unassuming dad. And you know he really loved his son. :(

If they took their time more, like in that scene, okay - and I still have faith, I'd just like more drama moments. I guess we have to wait for the family to be all together. Next week looks promising.

Yes, the Sylar fans saw it, but I still think Sylar is different then Peter with the power. Sylar will always be a villain, well I hope. But the great things about the villains on the show is they do come from somewhere and that is a thing of beauty, you feel for them.

I can't wait for Angela's I become death moment. :)

I totally agree Daddy!Slyar is so adorable. I've always loved sylar as the evil character, but aww he is just adorable.

But why name his son Noah?? =S (i think i might have missed something there but..)
