Corinthians should be required reading for Heroes fans and Heroes writers alike.

From 1 Corinthians

The Way of Love

13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, [1] but have not love, I gain nothing.

There ya go. Nathan found God and all, but he should have been reading 1 Corinthians, NOT Genesis. :D

I didn't even know it had this passage. I had read a line from Corinthians that dealt with love on the back of a book for Fireproof at work today. Corinthian is the name of Linderman's casino. I had no idea that he was associated with love. So now I wanna do some research. But this 13:1, really completely nails what Nathan is lacking. :) It's beautiful. And, somehow, it restores my faith. He is capable of feeling and expressing that love. He can get it again. :)

Wow, that's actually good. And here I was thinking for years that Paul was on some mind altering substance when he wrote it. (I was supposed to read one of his letters to the Corinthians for a class and couldn't get past the first 2 or 3 paragraphs cuz it made NO SENSE.) I'm woefully behind on keeping up with teh flist.
