If you are planning on doing some writing in 2011, I highly suggest that you check out getyourwordsout. GYWO is a challenge comm for words. There are five levels--150k, 200k, 250k, 300k, and 350k word commitments. There are weekly events like word wars, word generator exercise, and prompts. It's a whole lot of fun and I hope you join me! :D I attempted to do 250k this year and am going to end probably about 40k off. I'm doing a 300k challenge in 2011 and have a slew of writing ideas already! You'll find all the information you need on their Pledge and Commitments. You only have until Dec. 31st to sign up.

I am also kicking off a comm this year and I invite you to join! project2011! Project 2011 will be a place for people who want to accomplish big things in 2011 and want to be part of a support/motivation group. On December 31st I am going to be making a post asking people about what they want from this comm.

Still much to do before the year ends.

Ha, actually there won't be weekly events at GYWO, but we are planning to have more writing challenges throughout the month and not just the one week of exercises.
